La Jolla Shores Hotel San Diego, San Diego

I had a good time at the hotel, mainly due to its fantastic location just steps from the beach. The staff was undeniably friendly and super helpful, which made our experience more enjoyable. However, the room felt quite outdated and the uncomfortable mattress detracted from my overall comfort. Additionally, the noise from a party next door made it hard to relax on our first night. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you're focused on the beach experience, but it could use some updates.

The beachfront location was wonderful for beach access, although we were woken early by loud machinery.
